Meet our Sunday School Instructor, Melissa Foord!

Melissa graduated from New Jersey City University in 2004 with a Teacher of the Handicap certification (TOH). She began her career in education working for New Beginnings, a special needs school located in Fairfield, NJ, where she worked as an aide and head teacher. She later started up an Autistic Program in Lincoln Park, NJ working with preschool children. For the past seven years, she has been working as a first grade teacher in a special needs classroom in Wayne, NJ. Her experience has included working with Autism Spectrum Disorder individuals and individuals with various cognitive delays, communication impairments, and behavioral disorders.

Sunday School

Sunday School meets in sanctuary at 10:15am with dismissal to classes at 10:30am

Christmas Eve service at 5 PM virtually on zoom. If you would like to join us please email the church at flc123elca@verizon.net your email address and we will send you the link for the service which will also supply you with a bulletin.

You just have to click on "join zoom meting" and you are there. Holy Communion will be offered.

Second Sunday in Lent

service at 10 AM virtually on zoom. Holy Communion will be offered. This will be the last Sunday our interim pastor, Michael L. Poole, Jr. will be with us. The congregation thanks him for the last two years that he has been with us and wish him well in his next undertaking.

Sunday, January 2nd -
Second Sunday of Christmas

service at 10 AM virtually on zoom. Our own Clemens Reinke will be presiding.

We are patiently awaiting the start of the new year when our pastor Margarette Ouji and family will arrive on January 3rd. More information will be forthcoming.
