At First Lutheran Church Montclair, our mission is to embody the spirit of generosity, inclusivity, joy, and service in all that we do. Following Jesus' example, we are dedicated to serving the marginalized and advocating for justice, reflecting Christ's call to love and serve others.

We acknowledge the need for repentance for the wrongs done to marginalized communities in the name of Christianity. Recognizing the importance of healing and reconciliation, we commit to ongoing reflection and action to heal these historical wounds.   We encourage everyone to join our community with their whole selves, encompassing their talents, struggles, doubts, and aspirations.
